42

For it to…
For it too—
Four and two.
Forty-two!

A number?—or a gate?
Where past meets present,
And dreams no longer wait—
Fighting, and finding—their rightful place.

For it to…
For it too—
Four and two?!
Forty-two!

An age where silence breaks,
Where the pen takes its rightful place,
Listening to the voice long ignored,
Now, writing what has been stored.

Yes!
42!
Cheers!
For Me—and You!

Glad you're back. Missed you. Done with school, eh? A bit more time to spare for poetry. Lovin it.

Today's my birthday. You got me right from the start. For it to, garner such attention, your pen has found its rightful place. I'm lucky to have seen it this morning. Thank you.

Very clever, Luciana. Of course, you know that 42 is the answer to the "Ultimate Question of Life, the Universe, and Everything," at least according to Douglas Adams. :)

Oh, to be 42 again, that seems like half a lifetime to me, well not quite. Cheers to you my friend! John
