40+ Santa

Merry Christmas my siblings
Now
Let's talk about happy stuff
family dysfunction and
....... dysfunction
Let's sit around a nonexistant fire
Let's laugh and tell on each other
Let's try to be the better child
Let's argue and seek attention
Let's act like we're completely wild
Let's make everyone uncomfortable
And that includes ourselves
I'm oldest so I'll be Santa
and you can be my elves

Wonderful write. More people on the soup needs to read your work. This poem is awesome because eventhough it makes one laugh there is so much hidden those words. Dysfunction reads loudly and the older one always has to deal and clean up the messes..great piece.
