28 Staying Strong
It's that time again to celebrate
amazing to think 28 years it's been
since we both committed to each one
so much happiness we have seen
Abundant memories to look back on
giving God thanks for his merciful grace
making us seeking to help each other
so our blessings put smiles on our face
A deep love for each one reigns supreme
seeking to think of the others good
God enabled us to love so selfless
to each other, for 28 years we've stood
So we look forward to our future
looking back thankful for all our time
but pointing forward in God's will
hand in hand secure to eternally climb
(27th April was my lovely wife Christine and my 28th wedding anniversary, so this is written for her in thankfulness to her and to God for the faithfulness and grace of God we've enjoyed.)
