#287 a Twilight's Morning Fair
Beneath the stars I sit
The winds blow gently through the trees
From the distance, the sounds of birds approach
As moonlight filters through the leaves
~
I feel the night expand
As sound evades the tune
With life suspended in silent moment
Could hear the turning of the moon
~
Curiosity entangles my mind
Where dreams intwine to please
I see a hummingbird twitter softly
Throwing sparkles through the breeze
~
To touch is irresistable
This glowing wonderland
Yet as my hand approaches
The sight succeeds demand
~
Through't this transient escapade
Raindrops flutter through the air
Trickling down upon the earth
A twilight's morning fair
~
Into this moment, the sense of awe
As sunlight scatters the sea
I sit in wonder 'neath the clouds
A lovely world indeed
