24h of September
The Sun shines upon autumn breezes
The leaves are all waving goodbye
The seasons will soon change yet again
For me, I shall walk along ancient forest paths
Contemplating all the seasons gone by
Each fall brings the end
To dreams that used to be
Whispering loves, mingle with tainted mists
The season of introspection
The season of my birth, and demise
The waterways will flow to eternity
As I shall march onwards bravely
Knowing there in no future
Beyond this wistful walk
Where nature is sure to consume me
Memories buried under fallen leaves
