i didin't know you kept a memoir
not until i decided to go through your stuff
i'm sorry,i was tempted to read it
i came across 23rd of June last year
you wrote something about what i did
i broke down into tears
'cuz what you wrote
reminded me of the kind of man i was
baby i'm sorry again
though i'm gon have you in my arms tonight
i don't think i'm worth of your touch
23rd of June was rough
but now that i know
i'm gon make it up to you
23rd of June last year
will be laughed at and mocked
