I search daily for an escape,
For even my mind you raped,
The shattered remains of what was me
Dying daily for she can't break free.
I feel it coming on strong,
Anything to cope with this wrong,
Urgency snipping at my heal,
Just a moment I don't want to feel.
 The numbness slowly creeped in,
And for a moment im free of our sin,
I pretend we have no yesterday,
Ignoring all I long for you to say.
 A second of peace,
I'll pay anything for this release,
Even whats left of my soul,
Anything to escape your hold
