Barbara Campbell Poet Sonnet

20 Years From Now

In the sun, glass of sangria
Sitting dreaming under a tree
A good dear friend and companion
Chatting away along with me

We journey to many countries
For culture, art and history
Uncovering different sights
It's all part of the mystery

My life will be as I had dreamed
No mortgage, no ties and no pain
All I'll have right in front of me
Is adventure and much to gain

So here's to twenty years ahead
I hope I do all that I've said.
