Where Joy and Sorrow Blend.
It hurts to recall Whispered Passions Exploding
when Yesterday's Shadows conceal
What Might have Been…
yet it’s So Hard to Let Go.
Stuck in a Snow Globe with You,
my soul is Empty as the Hourglass Shatters.
Wiping The Last Tear Drop from my cheek,
Heartbroken I Stand Here so Strong
Facing the Music …
but I'm No Fool Any More.
As the Cracks in the Wall of Your Prison
expose Blurred Truths,
I’m no longer a Slave to Love.
I believe in me, Dark Lover, and
I’m Gonna Get Along Without You Now.
For The Caged Bird is Set Free,
and Now My Wings Can Soar in the Sky.
