Mickey Mouse purses
Wizard of Oz bags
Disney’s Cinderella t-shirts
They have been around for nigh onto seventy years
Yet somehow we feel like we have just discovered them, 
Thinking they are new.
Mickey Mouse thongs
They are not new
We used to wear them in the sixties
On our feet.

"On our feet" (Glad you clarified this!!) ;D Funny how this works... I remember in the 90's, hearing a little girl talk about how she loved that new song- "Pretty Woman", from the Julia Roberts movie. I told her it wasn't new, that Roy Orbison recorded it in the 60's- but she would NOT believe me! lol I guess 'everything old is new again..'

When pedal pushers came back but were now called CAPRIS I said to a 6 year old “You are wearing pedal pushers!” She looked at her feet laughed and said “We call them sandals now Mrs K.”
