A TV drones on
Background noise
Riffing on a trash can
Moments
Without moment
Motionless predators
Devouring their prey
Popcorn
Stuck between the teeth
A reminder of joy’s
Transient cheese flavored
Fingertips
Searching the remote
For the present
Deleting the detritus
Of a black and white past
The doorbell
Announces
An unsolicited solicitation
Breaking the mood
Of an endless
                      ……moment

I hope after the twelve minutes you took a little coffee break and a deep breath lol. I really like how you ended this twelve minute inspiration, that would definitely end it for me seeing someone at the door doing their job trying to make a sale. The popcorn verse had me smiling.
