On the third day of Christmas, my true love shared with me Three bubbles meeting, Two sanitisers, With hope of being covid free. On the fourth day of Christmas, my true love shared with me Four tiers tearful, Three bubbles meeting, Two sanitisers, With hope of being covid free. On the fifth day of Christmas, my true love shared with me Five golden masks, Four tiers tearful, Three bubbles meeting, Two sanitisers, With hope of being covid free. On the sixth day of Christmas, my true love shared with me Six folk isolated, Five golden masks, Four tiers tearful, Three bubbles meeting, Two sanitisers, With hope of being covid free. On the seventh day of Christmas, my true love shared with me Seven barmaids furloughed, Six folk isolated, Five golden masks, Four tiers tearful, Three bubbles meeting, Two sanitisers, With hope of being covid free. On the eighth day of Christmas, my true love shared with me Eight students zooming, Seven barmaids furloughed, Six folk isolated, Five golden masks, Four tiers tearful, Three bubbles meeting, Two sanitisers, With hope of being covid free. On the ninth day of Christmas, my true love shared with me Nine girls distancing, Eight students zooming, Seven barmaids furloughed, Six folk isolated, Five golden masks, Four tiers tearful, Three bubbles meeting, Two sanitisers, With hope of being covid free. On the tenth day of Christmas, my true love shared with me Ten lords in quarantine, Nine girls distancing, Eight students zooming, Seven barmaids furloughed, Six folk isolated, Five golden masks, Four tiers tearful, Three bubbles meeting, Two sanitisers, With hope of being covid free. On the eleventh day of Christmas, my true love shared with me Eleven carers stressing, Ten lords in quarantine, Nine girls distancing, Eight students zooming, Seven barmaids furloughed, Six folk isolated, Five golden masks, Four tiers tearful, Three bubbles meeting, Two sanitisers, With hope of being covid free. What a clever idea, Lisle. I can well imagine singing along to this one and enjoyed your new albeit sad version of an old classic. The original version was apparently written as a chant without music and the basic wording dates back to the late 1700s.
