Today some orphans get soppy
And shed a tear on a poppy
Though they never met
Their dad was a vet
And there was no carbon copy

We call it here in Australia, We call it Remembrance Day and most stop for a minute in silence at 11am. Not too many wear a poppy, Nice Limerick Rico.
