11-22-06 the Day I Fell In Love
There's something I feel when I'm with you
something I feel inside
Something I hear in your sweet voice
when I'm getting lost in your eyes
It's not that I don't have the words
or that I don't know what I'd say
It's more that there's these moments
when you take my very breath away
I think about how it would feel
to hold you close to me
Rest your head upon my chest
so you can hear how you make my heart beat
If I could make time stop,
make it just stand still
I'd pause it in that moment
but I'd never get my fill
Sometimes I wonder if I could be
the something or someone you seek
I wonder if it's what we both long for
if we would make each other complete
I know we'll make it on our own
I know we'll both survive
but what if it was meant to be
What if, together we can fly
