-tell Me, Does Anyone Really Care-
there can be no fun in what isn’t right,
mankind fears what they don't understand
and now laughter frees the tears-
please, tell me,
is anyone really there?
and
does anyone really care?
why doesn’t the world see me as good?
where is my gift when i have no voice,
no verse can be written without notice and
i don’t know how to heal
i sacrificed
h o u r s
d a y s
y e a r s
all to find out i mean nothing-
how do i appreciate my quill
when my mind is fury intensified?
please be my friend,
drink coffee with me,
i am not broken glass;
i am better than what you think-
i sit on a mountain and wonder
why life gives me disappointment,
now i know truth can’t be set free
when the world seeks not atonement
my fair skin pale from being bare-
so, tell me…
does anyone really care?
