- Hanging For Honey -

    The
    rich joy
    of the earth's
    diversity
    The clover meadow
    a wildflower delight
    Snapshot of bumblebees drinking
    valuable nectar liquid
    Sucking through its narrow proboscis
June is the time for our dreams to come true

Einstein once remarked that, if the humble Bumblebee was to die out...Mankind would soon follow it. Enjoyed your poem, Anne-Lise. :) john

Do I have a proboscis to suck through? I know, we have our thumbs. I am so allergic to bees that I can barely appreciate all they do for the world. BUT I do appreciate your etheree. Poetry hugs ... CayCay

June is a month everybody thinks of weddings, holidays, even a bumble bee carries out its desires by hanging upside down to get to get to the 'VALUABLE NECTAR LIQUID' June is a most beautiful month in Europe, Our equivalent would be October. Well penned dearest Sunshine Smile, YOU ARE THE SUNSHINE IN JUNE. Hugs and blessings, Jennifer

Anne-Lise, your pen keeps creating gems. You precisely defined the path bees use to generate their nectar.

Hello Sunshine Smile, How did you get a photo like that? i had to look twice. I did not know the bumble bee drank honey. I thought it was just the humming bird. Hugs. Darlene/
