I was wrong in thinking my heart wouldn't hurt this way. Losing you has been the worst pain I have ever suffered.:

A Great message is there dear friend in your hard hitting Haiku. The fact is that in spite of all the odds and pains of life we celebrate every possible moments of our life otherwise we would miss all the beauty of life under the shadow of terror and fear which are hovering on our heads every moment. Great Haiku dear friend. Hope to see you on my new poem of today. Love and best wishes always...Ravindra K Kapoor

It's good to call Canada home. Still it is important to be aware of those who are hoping to find a future.

It's hard to keep up with all the poetry comments. Lol! But your haiku inspired me to write this haiku: My coffee is still / as I listen to the news / ripples form in black

that is some juxtaposition in the last line. I have not been watching the news but just read what you said to Augustus. we can't seem to escape the terror everywhere and yet we go on celebrating life the best we can. I hope for a good year for all of us, Anne!

Excellent Haiku here Anne-Lise!! Your words touched a nerve with me. Reading your words made me think of the flash-fiction write I posted earlier ("Only A Little Kid") on Poetry Soup. Assad's Sham Criminal Syrian Army + Vladimir Putin's Marauding Russian Forces will surely kill many more innocent men, women, children, and old people in this new year. And lest we forget other dictators in the world too!! Let us prayer for a better world someday in the future!! TR/FAV!! Best Always, Gary
