Muse
A muse is the person, place, memory, idea, or inner feeling that inspires a poet to write. In older classical tradition, the Muse was also one of the mythic daughters of Zeus and Mnemosyne, imagined as a divine source of artistic inspiration. In modern poetry, the word usually means the force or presence that sparks creativity, rather than a literal goddess.
