We Should Expect

"It harder for a Rich man to get into heaven,
than it is, for a camel to get through
to get through the eye of a needle"
with great wealth comes great power

God expects more of the wealthy
in a position of wealth,
you are expected
to take care of the poor

You have a responsibility
I'm glad I'm not rich
I don't want to face God
I didn't do enough to care for people

I would not like to say
I increased the cost of medication
so people couldn't afford to pay for health
I don't want to face God and say

I took the money off sick and poor
so I could live in luxury
I don't want to be the Pope
and stand up and say

I'm sorry God
I thought that I only had to bring
people to your church
I didn't realize

I had to invest your money
building banks jewelry shops
and business creating wealth,
creating investments

I read about Jesus
with the Hebrew people
where they tried to trap him
who should we pay

should we pay the tribute to Rome
or the tithe to the synagog
and Jesus said whos face in on the coin
they repeated Ceasars

so give unto Ceasar what is Ceasars
give unto God what is Gods
what choice did he have
to say only give the tithe

would have lead to war with Rome
to say only give the tribute
would have lead to the end
of their religious Government

The end of the beginning Church
it had nothing to do with the separation
of church and state
it had plenty to do with keeping the peace

The Church was the State in Christs time
now we are expected to pay
ten percent to the Church
and tax to the Government

But when we pay both tax and tithe
we should expect both Governments
and Church to provide jobs
and provide lives for the people.
