Seasons

Some months of feigning death
Then cometh warming breath
Black earth begin rebirth

Be gone season of fear
For now we feel good cheer
As saffron blooms appear

But lest we should forget
Summer not quite here yet
Await golden trumpet

Your work keeps getting better and better Tony. With so much written about the seasons not easy to produce a standout but this one would sit well with poets from ages gone by, Truely great. Enjoy rest of Easter, David in NZ
