Some months of feigning death Then cometh warming breath Black earth begin rebirth Be gone season of fear For now we feel good cheer As saffron blooms appear But lest we should forget Summer not quite here yet Await golden trumpet

Your work keeps getting better and better Tony. With so much written about the seasons not easy to produce a standout but this one would sit well with poets from ages gone by, Truely great. Enjoy rest of Easter, David in NZ
