Something's very wrong in this world

I can't believe it... 

Have we gotten so cold


Lives don't seem to matter any more

Pull the trigger 

Someone's dead on the floor


We take for granted

The air we breathe

Clean water and the lives it feed


Injustice rules 

to no end

While vampires fly screeching out of hell 


Say a prayer

For the injured souls

Say a prayer

For the child without a home


Say a prayer

That we'll unite

Say a prayer

We'd have no need to fight


Say a prayer

We'll all be free

Say a prayer

For peace and harmony


Say a prayer...

Love will find a way... today...for you and me

I like the poem, and the title is perfect. "Injustice rules to no end While bats fly screeching out of hell" is my favorite part.

What great words you write..they should be on a building. More importantly, practiced. I have to keep the news off most of the time. Or else I think their interpretation of reality, is how it really is. A farce. They are in the business of ruining people. Shameful. Strange humans... Panagiota
