Overwhelmed
It was not until we had met on that day
That I have ever felt like this’ spellbound!
And still I ask myself why I feel this way
When you’re near always overwhelmed
Though I still ask do you feel the same to
When near your heart is starting to pound
I don’t know am I kidding myself or is it true
Trying to keep my feet firmly on the ground
But wanting to kiss to touch, it’s the intensity
Heart beating fast, can you hear the sound
This feeling surges through me endlessly
It’s how it feels whenever you are around
I ask could it have then been love at first sight
Why this connection the answers still unfound
But should I be searching when it feels so right
Whenever we’re near always so overwhelmed

I’m captivated overwhelmed ecstatic as towed emotionally dumb found
I’m all of the above when around you my love
