Lost Love

A poignant feeling within my soul
This parchment I write upon has torn
My ink now drips between the rips I tore
With thoughts of a broken heart 
This candle flickers though the night
These last words will never be spoken
My eyes tearing from my teardrops dripping
As I reach to heaven to touch your soul
No longer your words will ever be told
Your voice of silence will never be heard
I have lost you in this moment of time
Sleepless nights with an empty pillow
The warmth of your body whisked away
The food of our youth has now spoiled
Only the memories of 27 years
Now laying beneath the ground in soil
The flowers placed upon you wither 
A stone above with these words said:

I will always Love You my dear
