Like Hellhounds They Dance

  The sky, aloof now
    midst turmoil beneath
  Faint inspiration
    can she bequeath

  Denizens of darkness
    like hellhounds they dance
  Stalking prey on shore
    the coastline explore

  And we few humans
    cower behind closed doors
  from the unlikely return
    of the hadrosaurs

Man, asteroids, volcanoes, earthquakes...now hadrosaurs. Just one more thing I have to worry about.

Why worry? Either be like me, or get married and let your wife do all the worrying. ~ Alfred E. Neuman

It sounds like something came to earth through a wormhole. A fine poem with Vincent Price qualities. Of course, I like it.

'Vincent Price.' Hmm. I'm honored. Thanks, gw

I feel more relief than trepidation. It's about time they returned! May be the end of the world for us--but a new beginning for them. Wishing them luck!
