Kara

Kara rhymes with Tara
as if in Gone With the Wind
half my wicked age
constant reminder of sin
she looks at me with eye's
of wonder
could my thoughts of her
cause God to thunder
My fear of her I cannot rest
each time I see her becomes a test
yet love her with a love
that doesn't touch
I must admit doesn't do much
Last nite I sought her in my sin
without any refusal I wondered in
and with what I saw I couldn't begin
the image of my daughter kicked in
my daughter, my daughter has a twin
my Kara sweet Kara
Gone with the wind.

That would be good advice to an older man who is wanting to sin with a younger woman or an older woman wanting to sin with a younger man. Just think if that was your child with another person then you would see it is as definitely wrong. Thanks for the visit to my page. I haven't heard from you in a long time. Sara

WoW!Sometimes we think it's okay because I have only lusted in my heart but whatever we entertain in our mind and heart has a way of manifesting itself. Don't Go There! A fine write my friend. Hope it's only a poem and nothing more. God Bless, JB

this kind of put me in mind of one of my favorite movies American Beauty. Very nice work.

Our chlildren do have a way of making us better people. Our love for them tends to bring out the best in us. Well crafted, and I loved the ending especially. Best of wishes.

Hmmm Sounds to me like a husband and father being tempted to stray. Good thing he kept his children in mind. The one thing that kept me mindful of my actions was that I wanted my daughters to always be proud of their mom. Great write. God Bless, JB
