Into the Void
Into the void faint is the light
Abyss of time, increase of night
Objects shrink in expanse of space;
hurtling forward, fears apace
Pioneers on a wondrous flight
Hopeful dreams glow distant star bright,
hypersleep lulls temporal fright
Thoughts move with null gravity grace
Into the void
Vacuum is bleak, empty the sight
Oxy sustains, if dispensed right
Awake to the unknown embrace,
courage leaves an orbital trace
Transmit that perils are not slight
Into the void
