Death, Where Are You

While sitting alone today,
I think of death, it was the day of May
The day, death stole my whole family away
                                              death where are you

When it comes to taking me, why were you shy
O death, please take me, I also want to die
I can t live these emotions, with water in my eye
                                                death where are you

Infront of me I saw my parents fighting for life
I was breathless, yet don t know how alive
They all died, but I managed to survive
                                  death where are you

Death we have enmity, coz you make it my destiny
To be forsaken by my family for eternity
I also want to have parent s love, but I m not that lucky
                                               death where are you

The tragedy resonates and echoes, Faraz. Death can't be 'glossed over,' can it? ~ Gershon (from one who knows whereof you speak/write)

My goodness, you had me sitting on the edge of my seat Faraz, nearly crying my eyes out. So glad to see it was fiction after all. A mark of a great poet to be able to do that. Bravo and a fave....Maria :)
