Captivated

Again head over heels when we met that day
Meeting that I could never have anticipated
And still I ask why is it that one feels this way
Whenever you are near, I am so captivated

Though I ask myself do you feel the same too?
It’s the not knowing’ that is why I’m so frustrated
I don’t know am I kidding myself or is it really true
As I used to think that love was merely overrated

Wanting to kiss to touch, this feeling of intensity
I can’t sit still the excitement, I’m getting agitated
And this feeling that surges through me endlessly
So perhaps my heart you have then penetrated

I ask could it have just been love at first sight
Is it meant to be our spirits their now connected?
Why should I question when it feel all so right
Whenever you are near, I am so captivated

And still do if  you only knew how you make me feel
