Breaking the Chains

One must break the chains 
  if one is to survive in this world
   Illness brings you down 
But spirit brings you back 
  up 
  The sounds of beautiful voices
creating magnificent sounds 
A celestial - sounding choir 
is what I went to see
    at CARNAGIE HALL
 It was great!
    and it helped me break the chains
which lead to despair
As I said - one must break the chains 
Those chains which inhibit our joy 
Those chains which inhibit our natural state 
   of ECSTASY

We can find such pleasure in so many different things. Most of us no reason to feel like we are in chains!

Yew there are many ways to have pleasure. I had a date to see a chorus celebrating 180 years of Central Synagogue - it was quite joyous. But we are all trapped in the chains of mortality and sometimes illness. I will now look at your latest!

good insightful message, we all need to break free from the chains that burden us, sometimes it's easier said then done but the will to live often gives strength... wonderful poem :)
