Beauty of Holiness
O worship the Lord
In the beauty of holiness
So says the Bible
Again and again.
So how do we do it
In chapel or church
Majestic cathedral
Or do we just fall
On our knees to the floor
And hope God is smiling
As he looks round the door?
No, none of such methods
Display godly holiness
By that kind of beauty
God can’t be impressed.
The only way beautiful
Our worship can be
Is through Jesus our Saviour
And our living as He.
“Worship the Lord in the beauty of holiness.” Psalm 29:2
