Back Then

Do you remember the good old days,
records,8 tracks and tapes
peanuts in your cola
cards in your spokes and easy bakes.


Kids knew the meaning no,
going outside was safe
hiding seek was so much fun
I know you can relate

Lights out meant just that,
we ate what was made
and grew up just fine
better than they do today.

I worry for our youngsters Jessica - how times and society have changed how our childhoods differ so much from those of this present generation:-( lovely to see you back again:-) hugs Jan xx
