Autumn Falls
Let's be inspired by the struggle
instead of drowning
in our sorrows
Today you're down & fighting struggles
but the sun will shine
on you tomorrow
Sometimes it's hard to see the good
when clouds are persistent
with the rain
The storm surge is really an illusion
for those insisting
on your pain
Resist the urges of confusion as they're
just bumps
along the road
Some paths have twist & many turns
but you must stay
focused on your goals
No one that quit ever rose
so keep your eyes
on the rise
When up don't forget that you were
down nor those that
rejoiced at your demise
