Antidepressant

antidepressant

black death
heart rattle
against bone cage
trapped in a chemical labyrinth
smothered in a shawl mind haze
living tears dried, lost
not cried
spark fried
brain wires uncrossed.
but life
lost.

Thank you my sister. I hope no one ever experiences that kind of reaction but i thunk many are forced to by circumstance.

Wow, this is an amazing write, I love how you wove the mind's confusion with haze and delivered a poignant wave of sadness within the lost life at the end! Sometimes the mind can only be cured by death...or the life of God, thus the eloquence of life can be stymied by the depression expressed by some! You poem is quite sad but done in a spectacular way, I loved the way you did it! What a grand piece, Great Work!!
