A State of Mind

Changing your state of mind, where to begin
Especially if your a person feeling depressed
A mission it's self I find, a constant head spin
With just far to much information to process

Though they say the brains as big as the sky
It's like a whirlpool that goe's round and round
Searching the corners of your mind, I against I
Thoughts so perpetual boarder line or profound

Looking for the answers but where do they all lie
An eqasion even if mathematical its still unfound
Thoughts that make you mad and sometimes cry
It feels all so mechanical looking for higher ground

Bombarded with memories that always manifest
If it were more clearly outlined is it down to discipline
It feels like a battle within ones self like a huge test
Changing your state of mind, how you feel within

Powerful poem David! I love how you give the background for your poems. Changing the state of mind really is a difficult task especially when you don't know where to start. Very well written!
