WE

Donkey.
Elephant.
Right, left, or center.
We The People are the core
Of our nation’s soul and we must defend her.
Radical agendas, violence and hate won’t do
We all must come together, black, white, red, blue; there’s so much more to do.
Solidarity and prosperity lifting all boats on its tide.
Put aside differences and focus on our goal.
We are the people, together we should stand
In the land of liberty
Of, and by, and for
The People
Just WE.

Republicans are called conservatives for a reason. It’s liberals who have lurched so far to the left they don’t believe in borders anymore, or the rights of women (or even what a woman is), or a peace through strength doctrine, or defending western values, or our rights and freedoms that they totally disregarded during Covid. You’re all so Trump deranged you will condemn everything Trump does but excuse your own actions and failures. So far I like what I’m seeing with Trump on the border, on immigration, on foreign policy, on the economy, on battling antisemitism in universities, on protecting women’s rights, on defunding NPR and PBS, on slashing government waste, on removing illegals from taxpayer funded programs and voting rolls, on giving parents back their right to not have their kids indoctrinated at school and on and on it goes. If that makes me deranged in your mind then I’ll just have to live with that. Danny Derden Date: 6/30/2025 7:22:00 PM As a life long hard line Republican, I used to think EXACTLY like you and still agree that the "lurch" to the left on social issues is ridiculous in the extreme and completely unscientific...not to mention morally reprehensible in many ways...but that does not excuse immoral actions on the "right". My thinking has changed since I stopped listening to echo chamber news and started READING and my study of history also opened my eyes big time. I have come to my senses and have embraced INDEPENDENCE...freedom from political parties who always always always put party first. Principles over party. People over party. The actual derangement is believing everything he says when he has been proven wrong so very many times. When he's right I give him credit, but when he's wrong his worshippers insist on believing him anyway. That sir is true derangement. Neither "side" cares about you or me, that is the truth.
