This Side of Art
Words have become such
naughty little daredevils
turning my thoughts
inside out,
and up-side down
in order to have their own way
Using sentences
as jump ropes,
while snickering at verbs
Who think it's attractive
to dance around
like,
nonsensical cheerleaders
Sometimes . . .
it gets very maniacal in here,
but i find it extremely hard to resist
this side of art
