The Will to Live

Me dear, I think I've lost the will to live
Each day is so much harder than before
And though I try, I've nothing left to give
I'm so far out, I cannot see the shore

This senseless suffering has to find an end
What use is dawn to eyes blind to its light?
What use is there for mask of just pretend?
What hope is there for one entombed in night?

My dear, you know you did not treat me well
Ignored, neglected and unloved by you,
I smiled inspite my torment in your hell,
but not a single soul my heartache knew

Today you watch me cry outside Love's Gate
No reassuring smile, no sweet embrace
The line so fine between what's love and hate
You finally crossed; it's written on your face

I will not live a loveless, lifeless lie
These words will be my last before I die!

Hand touching heart, acknowledging God’s light within, immediate and intimate, affirming love thus repeatedly, energises and enlivens soul presence, felt in time as divine magnetism. That said, I’d recommend releasing all negativity, forgiving all, including yourself for any inadvertent lapse and moving on. Try Ho’oponopono, it’s a great forgiveness prayer.

Thank you, dear. Always lovely to get a visit from you. I'll try to write a happier poem soon. :) Writing is therapeutic, but I'll lose my following if I keep this up.

Been better... been worse. Actually, I've been home for the past five days. Got a really bad cold. I'm grumpy. Not a happy camper at the moment, but I'll try to write something posirive soon.

I deal with depression, dear Sunshine. I always tell God... please just keep me until I see my daughter married and settled and my dad no longer needing my care. Then... I'm OK if I go. Life is too hard. I didn't sign up for this ;)

Boy, a lot of emotion in this one, your m.o. So sad to think some get to this point. I have to confess, I've felt some of these same things. I hope in real life you're doing better. I know you've had some real time grief
