Notes About The Poem

You can never have peace until you make peace with the owners of the land, you can never take what is not yours, and think is a God given right.

The Gaza Lottery

Look up to the sky
will you live or will you die?
is a lottery you see
we the west dropping aid
pretty and adorable exploding bombs
the grandest casino of war
will we save you?
even so not for long
you will be slaughtered 
our masters decide

A permanent solution could be worked out, but as you point out in your introductory remarks, some people have a sense of entitlement. I suspect it will get worse, but hope sanity will prevail at some point.
