The Clowns

The feeling of general unease
as you watch some do as they please
the state of things begin to unravel
the mind diverse in it's travel

The lies and the deceit
laying at the doorstep at our feet
when will the wake up bell ring
when will some hear that ding

The fear factor is in the air
yet so many do not seem to care
the world has turned upside down
run by a circus of dressed up clowns.
