The Alien

From their vast, blue sky
Comes a flash of chrome,
A circular ship looking to dock
In a safe harbour to call home

Looking for a new world
While I hover in and out,
Inhabited by intelligent life
Free of fear and doubt

I only observe these beings
Who become more strange,
Yet, their demeanor over time
Never really seems to change

Yet again, I have to stop
And turn back the way I came,
What was here for a million years
Has evolved to be the same

None here would welcome me
A little man with green skin,
How awfully they do treat
Their very own kith and kin

If I had set foot upon Earth
They would surely raise their fist,
Maybe it would just be best
If they didn't know that I exist.

i find this an expose of the fallacious roots that Marxists pursue in their search for a Utopia....such as the Icarians....alas human nature.....and maybe why the universe is not loaded with alien television signals....it is silent

This is so very deep and metaphorical, how one feels unwelcome etc alienated in a world that only sees things as they like! How creative and moving! Pleasure always reading you
