The lobby for Israel has a lot of influence and moves against any politician who criticizes the methods Israel uses or the treatment doled out to non jews in Israel and in occupied territory. This makes it tough for those of us opposed to killing innocent people. We also know the Israeli army uses human shields (generally young Arab women an children). We're not giving up...just watching the US send more 2,000 lb bombs recently. There's a huge amount of US complicity in all this...now worse than ever with the king in charge here.
