Stab in the Dark
Have you ever had a day
When you wish you had wings
So you could fly away
From all the bull and everything
Only to find out hey
God had specific plans
If I hadn’t had bad days
I’d miss my blessings and
I’d be less interesting
Like a bird with no song
Unable to do mentoring
With lack of experience to lean on
Even when life seems
like a stab in the dark
I hear God speaking
Lighting up my heart
