Shattered

Chaos color blast blue sun is traveling fast past a blood red moon. Creatures scurry for cover on the dark side of summer. Red tailed comets streak Paisley colors growing weak, Midst music, dance, laughs! Night has destroyed amber day; and the world's in disarray.

Wow, Evelyn, this poem is incredible. I love 'Red tailed comets streak' which truly brings depth of question "What is the poet saying in this line?!" Followed by "Paisley colors growing weak, Midst music, dance, laughs!" And the ending lines "Night has destroyed amber day, and the worlds in disarray' WOW. This is indeed a true masterpiece <3

Times of upheaval seem to fluctuate, coming and going, but always promising to come back. I love your poem is like the energy. I like the reference to paisley fading. How the fading of textiles leaves me forlorn.
