Will people sucumb to hatred and vote against their own self interest? Some business tycoons support candidates who use overt racism and disinformation in their campaigns. They want elected officials who will cut their taxes even thought they already have portfolios worth billions. It's all about them.

selling fear and hate

To hoard large pots in the biz game
They’ll say immigrants’ only aim
To grab workers’ cash!
This augments the stash
The fattest cats normally claim

Most of the UK's Mp's, are from lands over the seas, let's not be rash, it's not for the cash, through hard work they hope to succeed. Do you reckon Trump will triumph Duke.

Jennifer, thanks! It does seem pretty obvious what's really going on here. For those of us who believe in peaceful settlement of differences, what transpires does seem frightening. You're not wrong that the global situation presents many dangers. We can only work for the voice of reason.

IE, some very weird things happen here. Some people would like to transform the world into an aristocracy, and slowly but surely we see it happening. Hard to know how this ends. Unfortunately, many seem to be going along with it. Funny what fear does to people here. I’m trying to be clever about it, and love that you see the humor. You are a gift to this place!!! Smiles!!!!!
