PRIDELESS

You’re so damn priceless
Wish you were prideless
I’m in this rut of a mess
But, I’m making progress

Not so hopeless after all
I’m not feeling like standing tall
I’m spiraling downwards
I’m talking backwards
I have no words to say — it hurts in rage
To say the least, these birds need to be set free from my ribcage

I’m on the lightened stage
I sing with my might tonight
I’m on another rage page
I’m burning bright with flight

Not so hopeless after all
I’m not feeling like standing tall
I’m spiraling downwards
I’m talking backwards
I have no words to say — it hurts in rage
To say the least, these birds need to be set free from my ribcage

The doves in my stomach is soaring and is sore
The seashore to the core is what I’m soaring for
There is sympathy symphonies in store
Let the rain of my painful laughter pour

Not so hopeless after all
I’m not feeling like standing tall
I’m spiraling downwards
I’m talking backwards
I have no words to say — it hurts in rage
To say the least, these birds need to be set free from my ribcage

Not so hopeless after all
I’m not feeling like standing tall
I’m spiraling downwards
I’m talking backwards
I have no words to say — it hurts in rage
To say the least, these birds need to be set free from my ribcage

Set free your prideless wings
Let’s see what spring brings
The wintertime is oh so blue
But I’ll see you oh so soon too

I have no words to say — it hurts in rage
To say the least, these birds need to be set free from my ribcage
Wishing you were prideless deep down beneath the outside
You priceless, successful happy-go-lucky man on the inside

Lightning strikes your pride
Now you’re humility is by your side…
