Poetry Is a Struggle For Breath
It is subsistence
Something that we
All need to survive
It is a life blood
Like air or water
It has the strength
Of a thousand warriors
Is as solid
As a block of marble
Opens your consciousness
And lets you see
With strokes of wisdom
Makes for a better
Happier journey
Can move mountains
And stifle weather
It builds a solid person
That will foster
The goals of
A lustrous humanity
