soft rays
moon slip
words ooze
eyes shut
winds rose
night sweet

Dark thread
tears swell
hands shake
dreams lull
skies fall
birds cry
heart treat

Stone mute
veins bloom
grief hums
hope falls
time bends
light goals
dust rush

Mind stays
truth leans
steps slow
thoughts brew
stars gleam
fears shaft
voice hush

I’ll take “totem pole” as a compliment—stacked symbols, carved truths, and maybe a few mischievous spirits tucked in between. Writing’s a bit of both for me: part therapy, part thrill ride. Some days it’s a lifeline, other days it’s just me chasing metaphors like fireflies. But yes, I do crank 'em out—either I’m prolific or possessed. Still undecided.
