One More Boat Ride

Out on the ocean drifting, alone
Thinking about- "His long and wonderful life"
But with every wave pain he endures seeps deeper
While sounds of the white caps help him to forget
The moon turns the tide to high before dark
And so, he ponders; it's time...and he jumps!

Very sad ending. Suicide is not a solution.

I agree, Vic. But in his case the pain he endured was so unbearable that the easy way out was...suicide. Great to hear from you, dear friend.

Didn't expect that ending, but we never know how much pain he was enduring. Well written.

Hey Bill. After cutting my lawn this afternoon and having to break every lap around, I felt his pain. (lol) Thank you, dear friend. ~CM
