How We Can Learn To Love

When you see others hurting and your heart doesn’t cry,
Look inside and ask yourself the answer to your why?
The path we’re given here on Earth is so we can learn.
To begin the learning process, we must feel concern.

For each to evolve while on this Earth, each must transform.
Right choices made along the way seldom cause much harm.
Look upon others from you heart, so you see their need,
Helping others where they’re at is how you plant the seed.

For all that’s created with Love as it’s source,
Can be looked at later with no remorse.
Some parts of the path may sometimes be tough,
But the strength provided is always enough.

Follow the guidance of the Spirit within,
With Love as your source, you’ll always win.
Struggle is important, it’s just part of the test,
The grade will not matter when you’ve done your best.

Whether your sons, daughters, fathers, or mothers,
Spend part of your life’s time learning to love others.
Now you’ve learned to love, show you believe,
It’s better to give than to receive.

True, Bill. Love alone is real. As we shift along the octaves of love, feeling of separateness yields to interconnectedness and finally recognises underlying oneness.

It’s a charming, heartening work—deep in words yet broad in insight. It could be heard in quiet moments, in artwork of interacting, or as a routine whisper for those who wish to walk a road shaped by devotion and giving.

Love is the cardinal virtue from which springs compassion and concern for others. Unless we feel for the sufferings of others, we are not human. If ever we can extend a helping hand, we become a man led by the Spirit. Then we learn that with all our setbacks and limitations, life is not lived in vain. As ever, you are a great motivator, dear Bill.

Jesus told us the answer to life's puzzle and of course that is to love because God is Love. I really like how you have laid out this theme in this work of yours. Thank you for sharing it with us. Sara K
